What are these banties?

Quote:
They can't be sebrights because they have feathers on their legs. I think they are just different colors of bantam cochins.

I believe the first 2 are mottled and the last one is buff; the 2 in the first pic do not look like a splash. The first 2 could possibly be black.

Here is Ideal Poultry's cochin bantam page, if you click on the individual varieties it shows the color of the chicks.

There isn't a picture for splash, but you can check the splash old english game bantam page and see what splash chick down looks like.

Thanks, all! You've been really helpful.

I believe the last one is buff, as well. And I hope hope HOPE it's a girl.

Little chicks change so much every day. They are less and less yellow every day except for the buff one.

I'm going to look at the Ideal Poultry link and see if I see a chick that resembles the ones we have.

After thoroughly perusing the Ideal Poultry link and a number of other sites, we have come to the conclusion that these chicks most closely resemble bantam light brahma chicks.

Now we just have to watch them grow up and see what they turn out to be!

for the last one it's going to be buff. And I think another cochin... I'm pretty sure it has a single comb. However if it has a pea comb then it's a brahma. Never had brahmas but I sure love my two cochins
