I'm gonna try to catch them again this evening! I will post better pics of them if I'm able to catch them. I got lots of great replies and it seems to me that there are a few different breeds that they could be. for now I'm just gonna call them little game hens lol.

my vote is straight comb brown leghorn. I have one that looks exactly the same as those.....

Brown Leghorns have white earlobes. The hens in the OP's pics don't. They do look like some sort of game hen, to me.
