What are these Chicks?

Can you give an update? I have one that looks exactly the same and I was told it was a Dom.

Black Giants Is what they are. I got me some and they looked just like that. Now mine are growing very fast and this is them.



The one by the fence is a hen. The other is the roster. If mine was still babies you could say that they was from the same hen. GOOD LUCK

Jersey Giants are great! If you have them, you won't be sorry.

I think they are. But they grow so fast. WOW!

They slow down growing after a bit. They are pretty slow to mature, and at the "teenager" stage aren't much larger than breeds like RIR of the same age.

Thanks. I'm not quite sure what to do if we have 4 jersey giants! Those are big girls! You're right though, they do look like them. Is it normal for feed stores to sell chicks under the incorrect breed? (These were suppose to be Dominiques).

Yes and if they are marked pullet huge chance you will end up with a cockerel. 1/3 of my flock are cockerels bought out of the pullet bin

This is my Shachiqua, she was in the bin with Dominiques, but no dot, I'm wondering if she's a Jersey Giant or an Austrolorpe? Any Ideas?
