What are these insect/parasites on my rescue duck?

These are crawling over the duck that was bought home from an outdoor lake situation. What are they? Will they be doing him any harm?

thats weird, almost looks like human headlice. Not like sticktite fleas you usualy see

@casportpony might be able to ID the insects and definitly knows how to kill it
