What are these?

I got packing peanuts in my duck order that I need to rehome I would like to know what they are first does anyone know?

I thought RIR or New Hampshire reds? Any thoughts or guesses?

RIR will get very dark (dark red/rust color) once feathers start coming in where NH stay a lighter light brown. If your not keeping them that long then I would see if you can call the company and ask about your packing peanuts lol. Other then that I'm not sure how to really tell the difference that young... Sorry

Most likely production reds...

My guess was production reds, they don’t have the pattern that RIRs have. And I can’t see a hatchery using RIR as packing peanuts.

Was told they sent New Hampshire reds. Who really knows except the person who put them in the box right. They have to go. I have pullets coming this week so I'll keep 1-2. But these guys are bullying my ducks!
