I found these in my hens nesting box among the poo. I broke them open to see what was inside. We do not feed scraps, only scratch and layer crumbles.

They are a little over 2 years old. We lost a couple of our hens a couple of months ago. Those hens combs turned pale. Our remaining hens appear healthy but aren't currently laying. They were wormed 2 weeks ago.Those are lash eggs. It is expelled infectious reproductive tract material.
How old are your hens? Are any acting off? Are any having crop issues?
