I'd like to know what my chickens are ... if in fact they are purebreds. Can you tell by this picture?

The one looks like a brown leg horn to me too. I have a few and they lay white eggs. Beautiful and wonderful girls.

Hmmmm ... the brown one lays brown eggs [IMG]

The white one lays cream coloured eggs. The brown one is bigger and fluffier and friendlier ...

Hmmm .. I googled Golden Campine and, yes she does look like that. Do they lay brown eggs? Large ones?

I do not have campines, but I looked on the hatchery site. They lay white eggs and are a smaller chicken. Maybe you have crosses.

It could be a partridge rock. I have two, they lay brown eggs. Mine are a darker shade, but looking online, they have pics that look like yours.

Could be ... they seem darker ... no idea! But she is very sweet, and lays large brown eggs. The white one lays cream coloured eggs? They aren't *white* ... just lighter than the brown one's ...

Your white bird may be a White Leghorn. The brown bird is a mix; if she was a Leghorn, she would have white earlobes and a different body shape/color.
