They were sold to us as Black Australorps but as you can see they are not solid black. They were at first but the older the get (14 weeks now) the more colors come in. Also are they hens or roosters?

Their color is too even and there's definitely roos there too, so not BSL. They might be Black Marans with clean legs and red leakage. To the OP, try posting in the Marans breeder section and ask if they could be Marans or a cross.
