what are they waiting for?

My goodness still aint laying... someone told me maybe the first week of nov. but they are digging stuff out of the nests, pushes golf ball out,they look kinda fat in the rear, the one still squats when i come in the coop like she needs attention. i guess ill have to hang back and wait, but its like waitng for the first grand child to arrive....lol

I have 3 hens that are the same age and only 1 has given me eggs all summer, yesterday I found 2 eggs. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

I have 15 hens -all 25 weeks old-only two have started laying and those two haven't laid an egg in two or three days now. hmmmm..... it's getting cooler, may be time for chicken stew... just kidding.

yeah mine like lays an egg every other day or so, i`ve gotten 6 eggs in a week..thats with 2 hens.
