I hatched a batch of mixed breed eggs. 3 of them look like the picture below. They have yellow/orangish feet with a splash of darker color further up their leggs. What do think they are?

could you post more pics and especially more with the full body of the chicks? it would help since not all of us give the same response to the leg/body colors. and sometimes chicks are too young to be sure of breed at first.

I'll do that just as soon as I get to the store. Dead batteries in my camera don't you know. The picture I included was at 1 day old and now they are a week old so that might help you too. Running to the store now...zip!

Here's pictures representing the different looks. I realize some or all might be mixed breeds. Best guesses count!

The 3rd picture I would say is a Australorp. I purchased female chick Australorps at my local farm store and that is what they looked like as a chick.

Edit to add: The First pic may be an EE. Are the legs an olive greenish/ grayish?

Black ones with white chest/cheeks are Australorps ..... I think:rolleyes: They look just like mine.
And it almost looks like you have some barred rocks as well, those with the white spot on their head.....
No idea about the white yellow chicks .... don't have any of those.
And of course the brown ones with greenish legs - Easter Eggers
