I have a feeling the white ones must be some sort of meaty birds , other than that I have no clue. I never raised them before.
I was told they was leg horns and clearly they are not. also told they was pullets but I am starting to see red in the combs.
3 whites and 3 reds were purchased at TSC , the 2 buff chicks in there are from my Buff Orpington.
Are the reds production reds? or some sort of sex links?

This is them when I got them on April 20th Minus the Barred Rock who isn't with them any more.

I wish TSC would label them better but I know the chances with that.
I also got some Silkies from TSC but I won't be posting them again cause it caused to much trouble I hope that me posting these
won't be such an issue.......this time I actually want to know the Breed not so much the Gender but the Breed I am curious of.

are the white ones growing really fast and eat non stop? If yea- it kinda reminds me of the cornish cross. The red one? No idea, looks like a Red star, but I don't see the lines, so that tells me its got to be something else- maybe Rhode Island red, but its not really dark, the one in the bottom looks darker like a RIR

The white ones are about same height as the other chicks bought the same day but when you lift them they are heavy very much heavier than the other chicks.

The red ones use to have a darker line down their backs but they no longer have that now that they are feathering out.

To me they all eat the same and they are all fast and run around like crazy.

I would this the red should be RIR then, and the white either the Cornish cross meat chickens or White rocks. If they start getting really big and fast its the cornish, mine are 4 weeks and all they do is eat and lay down
