Hi all - I posted these pics in my "Hi! I'm new!" thread, but figured that's old and not many will read it now... So, we have 6 young chickens, all about 6-ish weeks old. Two red (Rhode Island/New Hampshire?), two black and white (Barred/Plymouth Rock?), a big yellow that is out-growing the others and is extremely sweet and friendly (Buff Orpington?) We named her 'Sophia LaHen', and a solid black, with a dark greenish hue coming in on the feathers, that looks to be turning into a Rooster. Originally named 'Henny Penny', but we think it's not a 'Henny', and not sure what type he/she is...

Here is 'Henny Penny' (or probably 'Chanticleer' - from the cartoon movie 'Rock-a-Doodle')... Is it a boy??

Here is 'Sophia LaHen'...

And here is a picture of a red and a black/white somewhat together (we have two of each of these guys)

Anyone have ideas/know what they are?
Thanks!

I know we have met(on here) before, I wouldn't forget a name like Sophia Lahen. I love it. Nice to see what she looks like. Your black & white bird, that I can't see well, looks to have a mottled color. I don't know if they come in black but, speckled Sussex jumped into mind. The black with green sheen sounds like Black Australorp. These are just guesses- so please don't take my word for it.
