I have a chicken that has recently started laying eggs that have a grainy like thing on it. I will try to post a pic if I can. Is something wrong with the chicken and what is the grainy thing on the egg shell?

The eggs are often like that most chickens eggs will have small bumps its just natural irregularity. the ones on the egg in your pic didn't look particularly abnormal but get a second opinion to be sure. and :welcome
Ok thank you :-)

Looks like a shell gland glitch....hopefully just a one off.
How old is bird and how long has she been laying?

She is about 11 months, and have been laying about 6 months. She usually lays every day, but 2 days this week I saw that on the egg. The egg usually have a bump but first time seeing the grainy subtance. What is a gland glitch?

Well, a 'glitch' is an infrequent, or single event, malfunction....
....in this case happening in the shelling gland, or uterus, of the chicken.

So the big bump, circled in red, has always been on her eggs?
But the groups of tiny bumps are new?
Both of these are something odd about how she processes and apples the calcium she ingests. Probably nothing to worry about as long as she is otherwise eating/drinking/popping and moving around OK.
If she's the only one laying these then it's just her problem and not the diet of the flock.
