What are ways you store everything?

I mean everything as in extra feeders, waterers, the grit, oyster shell, scratch, game feed, flock raiser, starter, layena, and the other 5000 bags of feed there is to store. Do you think I should just build a cubby like bin on it's side with holes for each kind. My chicken area is covered with mismatched rubbermaid totes holding feed. I need to have all of these except we are going to stop using flock raiser. I don't know what to do to store them. We have mice out there so I can't just keep the bags covered with a tarp from rain. I hate stacking the totes because when it's time to feed I'm moving 50 pound things to get everyones feed. Helppppp

And what feeders and waterers do ya'll use to cut back on waste?

My coop is close to my house, so right now I have all chicken food and supplies in my house, in the laundry room. I need to figure out another plan because I don't have near enough space in here for everything. I guess I need to build a shed or something to keep everything in. I'm worried about keeping the food outside because of mice, bugs, and our very humid wet weather (mold).

and they are brilliant.

we have everything else in lidded boxes on a shelf in our greenhouse but the straw is in a bag, although we do need to rethink that a bit I think.

When DD 18 married and moved out...we turned her room into a brooder/feed room. It is wonderful!!! Ours was in the laundry room too.

I added a 6x8' addition on my large fowl coop specifically to use as a work/storage area. I can access my rear rollout nest boxes on one side and their is a cabinet over the top for storing small items and medicines. On the opposite wall I have four square plastic boxes with lids that will each hold 50# of feed or scratch. A shelve unit sits on one wall for storing egg cartons, feeders, small waterers. An the fourth wall I have 6 cages built in that I use in the winter for roosters.

Yep Metal garbage cans.
I also put some silicone around the handle on the lid and around the bottom roll joint. Mine stand out in the weather all year long and everything stays nice and dry.

That's a great idea!! I placed mine on top of 2 pieces of wood to keep it off the ground!! Works great but I'll have to try the silicone trick!!

i use those hevy duty plastic outdoor garbage cans, they have a handle on two sides that flip up to secure the lid( we can get extream wind hear sometimes )so i may have to go to the neighbors to retreave the trampolean but my chicken feed stays put!
