1. Light colored legs, light colored beak are giving me the picture of a bantam buff Orpington.

2. Silkies (Possibly partridge???)

3. Silkie...again with the partridge?

4. Um..........

5. Black Cochin OR Langshan...but judging by the amount of feathering I'm going with Cochin. Looks like a girl!

6. Could be black Australrops, Dutch...don't know on those but I DO think 4 and 6 are the same breed.

7. Silkie

8. Cochin

9. Gold-Laced Wyandotte?

10. Silkie

1 ?
2 I agree Silkies... either lighter partridge or possible buff???
3 Partridge Silkie
4 ? Maybe Jap or something
5 Could be Cochin
6 ? Maybe Jap or something
7 I agree white Silkies
8 Could be white Cochin
9 Almost POSITIVE this is a Gold Sebright

Well, black breeds very often grow in white feathers on the wings, usually the primaries, rarely the secondaries. Once they get through their first molt, the feathers generally grow in black. Sometimes they can retain a white feather or two though. Depending on the genetics.

Okay now I'm doing some looking too!
1st chick could this be a white laced cornish bantam?

2nd group - what do you think Buff Silkies?

3 Partridge skilkie?

9 I think you could be right on he golden laced seabright
https://secuservices.com/ideal/newideal/selectproduct.aspx?qty=1&ID=GSB&Product=113

I figure that the black chicks will be harder to figure out.
I also agree on the white silkies as well as the white Cochin and black Cochin.

I'd go with Sebright also!

I was just coming up with a laced breed on that one! Sebright seems MUCH more likely by the leg color of the chick!

I had the same problem and went through the Ideal site bantams until I found what was in stock

1. looks like a white laced red cornish but they say they are sold out

#1... Not sure. Buff Orp or white laced Cornish could be right though. What color are the wing feathers coming in? What type of comb?

#2 Red Silkies!

#3 Partridge Silkies

#4 No Idea - what type of comb? If single comb it could be OEG, Dutch, Japanese or white faced black Spanish, if pea combed, it could be a Sumatra

#5 Black Cochin

#6 No Idea - could be Japanese or OEG... since it is so black, I have a feeling it may end up not being solid black as an adult and may be gray or birchen or some color like that

#7 White Silkies

#8 Buff Cochin (White Cochins have smokey gray coloration on them)

#9 Gold Sebright

#10 Black Silkie
