What are we?

Trying to decide exactly what these three are. Thought one was a barred rock hen but it has white legs? We hatched these with 4h at school and all were supposed to be pure breeds. They are 14 weeks old.

They may be Dominiques. Any more pictures?

They have single combs. The second bird is grey. The pattern between the 2 black and white ones seem different and the first one is a bit larger.

Barred Rock mixes. The first bird is definitely a cockerel.

They have a single comb--not a rose comb.

They look like really crappy, hatchery stock Barred Rocks or a Barred Rock mix.

Yeah I kind of figured the first one was a roo. The second one I was wondering if it was some type of blue breed?

We had about 200 eggs from a breeder and there were all types of breeds. We got a buff brahma, copper maran roo, these 3 and 2 americaunas from the hatch.

I'm betting that the 'breeder' didn't keep his birds separated by breed. Those birds are mixed.

They're all mixed breeds. the first one may have some marans ancestry, with those white legs. It's a cockerel. The other two look like pullets.
