I have two beautiful bantam chickens. They both have feathered legs (cochin?) I'm pretty sure the dark one is a rooster (not sure! -never crows!) The light one is a hen. The temp today was 106 degrees so they're panting. Could you tell me what have? Thanks!

I'm going to say the darker feather footed one is a rooster, and the lighter colored feather footed one next to it is a pullet.

And I have a bantam that looks very similar to the lighter colored one and I was told it was a buff brahma, but I am still trying to figure that one out.

The buff one standing on the metal is a buff brahma hen. The dark one does appear to be a cochin and a roo.
Leg feathering in the brahmas is only on the outside of the leg and foot. It's more complete in the cochins.

Where did you get them from, are you sure they are from purebred stock? as they look like cochin/brahma mixes to me.
