You could put a drain in it. Just cut a hole to place a bathtub watertight cap in it , the kind that suction cups the hole.

yours might be pure magpie like my female in the last picture - next to m cayuga. Unfortunantly im the only one I know with magpies - at least adults, so I havent been able to see anyone elses magpies for colors or comparison .

Looks like they could be Magpie/Blue Swedish mix.

IF it helps any - my female that looks identical to you is either magpie crossed with :

Mallard, MallardxBuff , or that drake in front in the picture with my pure magpie mama.
