I have 3 chicks like this, but can't seem to find pics of anything even similar. Can anyone help?

The chick looks like a cross between two of our Araucunas. Don't know what breed it is, but it is adorable!

The legs look really yellow in the pic, but when I first glance at them up close, they seem to have a little green tint to them. Then I think I am imagining it. I had 3 EE chicks 3 months ago, but I can't remember now if they started out with yellowish legs or not.

The other chicks in the same box seemed like pure breeds, I just assumed these little guys were too. But can't seem to find any chick they look like. Would be cool if they were EEs though.

Those are interesting. It always helps if people post where they got them and how.

I wish I knew where they came from. They were in a mixture box that someone brought to a Poultry auction. The other chicks in the box look like purebreds, 3 Australorp possibly and maybe 2 Phoenix, but these 3 are a mystery.

Sorry I can't be much more help than that. I was just hoping someone would see them and recognize what they might be. Its always a longshot, but you never know. I figured maybe they were extras from a hatchery order.

I was thinking maybe they were NHRs but the pics I find of those chicks have more rust in them and no chipmunky lines down their backs.

very cute chicks, they are so colorful at such a young age, but no idea what they could be

Ahh, not phoenix. They look a bit chubby?
Phoenix are usually pretty small and dainty chicks.
My guess is one of the bigger breeds?

It looks so much like Bugsy, my pullet, when she was that age. I was told that she was a cross between a Barred Rock and RIR since that is the only two breeds this man had...now that she is grown, you can see some brown barring thrown in here and there on her and she has reddish brown markings on her...her background color is a pale yellow.

They are the biggest of the 14 chicks, even the RIRs. Not by tons, but they are definitely stockier. They are very bright and colorful, I love their wing pattern.

They all seemed so uniform in their coloring, I just assumed they were a pure breed of some sort.

Now I cant wait til they feather out to see what color they are going to be!
