Harry Potter. I also enjoyed The Hunger Games and Twilight, but I only read the first book for them, so they don't count.
I never finished the Bible or Jane Eyre. Classics just aren't my thing, I guess.

And most people never read the complete Bible anyways. They skip past Nehemiah, Ezekiel, Matthew 1, and Revelation. Gee, I wonder why?

I never even made it past Genesis.

My personal favourites include Judges, Ruth, Both Chronicals, Both Kings, Both Samuels, Esther, and Apostles. Those are the exciting ones. Judges and Apostles (also called Acts) are very varied, Ruth is a love story, Esther is a heroic, exciting adventure, and the other 6 are stories about Samuel, Nathan, Saul, David, Solomon, and others. Now that I think about it, Daniel's pretty good, too. Bel, which is an archaic book not in the Bible, is sorta a prequel to Daniel. I would recomend these books to first-time Bible readers.

All of the Pentagram books are really long, and the last 2 can be a really boring slog at times. Nehemiah and Matthew 1 are geneologies (great place for names; bad place for an interesting read). Revelation is publically familiar even among the worldly as being a somewhat disturbing book (as well as confusing). And Ezekiel, although of course it has a good message, is mostly on a down note. These are books that I don't recommend for the new Christian. They can give a bad reputation to the Bible, which it honestly doesn't deserve. The Bible wasn't written to be read cover-cover like regular books, rather, it's a treasury of books.

POTTER!!!!! Harry Potter all the way! I can read the books over and over and over and over without getting tired.

Hunger Games isn't bad, either.

Sorry, I'm not religious, I haven't read the Bible.
Someone is probably going to get mad at me because of my scientific views (someone always does), but at this point I don't care anymore.

To the last bit. :p

Ducks And Banny Hens, thank you for the advice. :) I appreciate it, and will try to remember it when I try again.

Man, this isn't a hate thread.

I've read this over and the Christians on here are acting a little hostile.
Listen, peoples, let's respect each other and discuss books in a reasonable manner; though whether we do or not the Bible will be the most talked about. Which is understandable considering no other book has influenced the world like the Bible. No other book has sold more copies, been translated into more languages, yet suffered as much persecution. A miraculous compilation of 66 different books, written over a period of 1,600 years by over 40 different authors, yet possessing a supernatural unity from Genesis to Revelation.
"Impossible, if written by many minds, yet possible, if written by One through the hands of many men." (II Peter 1:21)
