What are you doing w/ your Svoceys? With this March 31st thing & all?

Are they really going to come to every farm and hunt them down? I have 7 adults and LOVE them... Can they really inforce this? I live in the sticks and have NO intention of turning any of them loose. I keep there wings clipped and they just goon around my yard. Really I think they are way to fat to fly away even if they wanted too. One hen is making a nest....

They can't enforce it. What your doing is like driving over the speed-limit. Tons of people do it, but barely any get caught.

I figure they will spend more time and money trying to track down people who breed and let them loose on public lakes and ponds than worrying with people who have only a few as pets and raise them for enjoyment.
It just seems to be a way of making it harder for us pet owners to get some. But then, how many things are we already going against with our pets already? Leash laws, number of pets per household, vaccinations, etc.

i have a pair. they have been mating, i have some eggs, and i am NOT selling my ducklings as meat ducks. this is stupid. there is more important stuff to worry about then some poor little ducks
