I dont vaccinate. I dont plan to either unless something happens.

I am still awaiting lab results but seems like I got Mareks from some chicks....vaccinating EVERYTHING for it now...I quarantined too

eta- I just got some hatchery chicks and got them all vaccinated for Mareks, they are now isolated until their vaccine kicks in....for 2 weeks

Nothing. I just maintain general biosecurity (nothing too flash) and breed for resilience. Marek's resistance is highly heritable.

Vaccinating suits expensive pet breeders, show breeders and the giant production mobs. The rest of us can use a combination of common sense, quarantine, and culling if we have to.
