What Are You Hatching In The Spring?

I think I will start hatching in March ~ Ameraucanas, Olive Eggers, Bantam frizzled Cochins from my own flock and I need to buy some nice dark French Black Copper Marans hatching eggs.

Plan on hatching lots and lots of silkies, buff and bbs. Also plan on hatching gray call ducks when they start laying around march. I plan to start hatching silkie eggs in mid-Jan. This year I hatched around 150-200 silkies.

More turkeys as soon as they start laying. More mixed breed chickens for a project I'm working on. Some White Leghorns as well.

I'll be setting more Silkie eggs tomorrow.

In the spring our focus will be on hatching out the year's batch of poults and goslings. Right now the 'bator is filled with chicken eggs though.
