I started flower seeds indoors a few weeks ago. Sprouted so far: blue salvia, stock, forget-me-nots &, cleome. I have those plexiglass shelves with suction cups stuck to my back room windows with all the seedling trays. On the waiting list I have hollyhocks, verbeena, zinnia, parsley, sage, rosemary & thyme.......you have to sing that last group
We can't plant outdoors til mid May. So I'll have my backroom filled to the brim with seedlings. I love it.
Maybe I'll do tomatoes and potatoes this year too.
Im planting snow peas and sugar snap peas, nustursium, basil, dill, blue...yes BLUE cherry tomatoes that I bought from someone on BYC, spaghetti squash, peppers....and anything else I find in my seed basket. love this time of year
I bought some strawberry plants today that are already growning in the bad.Should plant those.Got some onion bulbs too.Ground is to water logged to plant though.Dh might buy me a harbor freight greenhouse next week,so if I can put it together I will start plants in there by next weekend.So excited!!!
Well, I have my peppers, tomatoes, and zucchini started and ready to plant, but just woke up to a light frost again!! I'm near San Diego, so that's kind of out of the ordinary this late in the year, but I guess its still officially winter for a couple more days?

The only fuzzy green beans I've ever seen were scarlet runner beans. I like to plant wax beans and french fillet beans. YUM!
I'm putting in carrots, beets, peas, fennel, pak choi and spinach.
