What are you using to for daytime fencing for geese?

Im not sure this will help you but its working well for me. My Africans are heavyweight and actually respect a 2 foot fence. but can be done with 4 foot fencing also. I needed to seed in some of the pasture for spring. So I bought 2 foot welded wire fencing and made movable fence posts out of left over pieces of 2x4's. The geese walk up to the fence they can see over it. shake there heads and move on. Here is were I got the Idea for the posts.
The nice thing is I can move it to different spots.

Thank you so far it is working really well even though it is only 2 foot. The one I have up right now has held up to 90mph wind gusts. The geese respect it well and dont tend to put there neck in it, when they dont want to be caught like the do with my 4 foot fence since they can see over it.. It was very cost effective to. I ordered thin 16 gauge from Home depo its a deliver to store item. 4 100 foot rolls for around $200 and left over wood and 3 inch deck screws I got the landscape stake spikes from Amazon I only got the 10 inch and 2 pins per post have worked. There also easy to get up to move.

Thought I put some pictures in since I made them a bit different in fact all are a little different some have 2x6 or left over 4x4 the only consistent I uses was the 2 foot high upright and a 2x4 dor the base piece that goes through the fence. Also a photo of my back saver 50 gal heated tank. Runners can drink from one side geese the other milk crates keep geese out of the water.. Fence keeps runners out

I'm getting 3 adult Toulouse soon. I normally use electric netting with my chickens, ducks, and goats with zero problem. I was planning to put the geese in the goat pasture, which is surrounded by electric netting. I'm starting to rethink that strategy. Could I maybe pen them with hod panels *inside* the pasture? I want them to have the protection the electric netting provides, but I don't want them destroying it.

I have 16 geese currently. 5 Toulouse, 3 American Buff, and 8 Africans. They don't mess with the poultry netting at all. If I turn it off and they get spooked, they'll run right over it, but for the most part they respect it.

Thanks. My goats run through it if they're spooked, too, but that's only happened once in over 2 years (knock on wood). I'll see how they do. They are coming tomorrow.
