What are your chicken plans for next spring?

First, sell all my Blue Orpingtons. Then sell my BR roosters. Then add three or four bantam breeds, D'Uccles, D'Anvers and maybe Silkies.

Just kidding, LOL! I have no idea, really, other than maybe expand my Delawares. If I still have Suede, I'll have blue Orpingtons. Without Suede, I'll be out of the Blue Orp biz.

I read it all but why would you even think about getting rid of blue orps? I will love the delawares I am sure. Jean

Get two coops and yards ready for two more flocks. Probably barred rocks and partridge rocks or silver penciled rocks. McMurray sent some BRs with my Aussies so I guess I will raise them also.

I still have to finish my coop and yard for the Aussies right now and I'm already thinking about spring...

Separating my pure breeding chickens from my barnyard birds. By spring I should have plenty of eggs to sell and hatch. Hopefully I will be able to have my Mille Fleur D'Uccles by then also.

Had to shake up this thread a bit, LOL. Now, if I really decide to sell any, no one will believe me.

I plan to build two more small coops. One is for the Easter Eggers (I'd like 3 more hens); One is for some BLRW that I plan on getting (4-8).

I also plan to do meat chickens. Not sure on which type. But those will get a plastic pvc tractor to move around in. I'd like to stock my deep freeze.

Got to get some more silkies. Going to sell some of my cochins and mixes.
I'm working towards showing so I would like to pick up something to improve my line of standard cochins.

Also thinking of getting some quail. Maybe a couple of good egg layers too.
