What are your chickens favorite snacks?

So I tried cooked noodles (I had some leftover). The first brave one got a noodle and the rest chased her around. Even though there was a pile of them! In the end. I think a couple ate them. I will have to try yogurt. Mine are 8-9 weeks old so I think they should be able to eat anything at this point. I have grit available at all times. Its cicada season in OH. I really hope they like those things. FREE TREATS!!

My girls are only 5 weeks so they haven't acquired much of a pallet yet but the will knock me over now for a chopped up hard boiled egg!

I'll be curious to see if they do. The ten chickens we had years ago went crazy over grasshoppers and would literally hop up and down! I want our current chickens to eat earwigs!

I've posted this in the other snack thread before, but mine love fresh, raw coconut. It raises the amount of lauric acid in the yolks too.

Oh geez, what DON'T mine like! I grow grapes, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, cantaloupe, watermelon, tomatoes, corn, pumpkins, squash, cucumbers, and lettuce just for them. They really love pumpkins after they freeze over the winter and are mushy in the spring. They also go crazy for bread, popcorn, donuts and MY FLOWERS!

I think watermelon, tomatoes and spaghetti.
