I think it's probably more the way it really was and not the "everything is rosy" Christmas pagents we've always seen.

I have seen elf tons of times, and still crack up! I love the part where he says to the racoon, "does someone need a hug?"!!! Miss P. reminded me of the Walton movie, and I haven't seen the Nativity Story, but I really want to. Do you remember the kid show about the donkey? The one where his mother dies in the snow? I haven't seen that in years.

It is never too early to start watching Christmas movies, or listen to Christmas music! I was listening to music in August while I was crafting. Always puts me in a happy frame of mind...
