My 3 top favorite singers are Nayuta, Chata, and Akiko Shikata.

They all have amazing soft voices that work well with both Classical-sounding music and Pop, and Akiko has the added bonus of being a trained opera singer, if I recall correctly.

Jim Morrison. Many, many reasons...His lyrical ability was AMAZING, first off. A lot better than pretty much all of the other artists I've heard before. My list goes on but there's a reason.

Honorable mentions include Pink Floyd, Blondie, Of Montreal, Annie Lennox, Moby, and dare I say it...Lady Gaga.
