What are your rooster's names?

This is Sir Fugly von Pumpkin (the other half named him...). His original hatcher named him Fugly because he was Frickin' Ugly, but I think he's ugly in an adorable sort of way. He's a Silkie-X aka a Whatsit. He really is very handsome in his own way, but he's like HALF the size of my laying hens, so I think I might get him some smaller girlfriends come spring.

I think he is VERY handsome. I love odd looking chickens they are my absolute favorite.

Yeah. If I had the time and luxury, I'd try to breed more bantams that looked like him. He's got a mulberry colored comb, black skin, five toes a crest and ear muffs like an Araucana, HUGE white earlobes lined with turquoise, really really long hackle feathers, and feathered legs. And when he's courting the ladies or really peeved at something, he stands his crest up like some mini dinoraptor of some sort or another.

He sounds great! I have a few hens just like him, feather legs, crests, 2 with black skin and 5 toes also, and they are the favorites of my flock. Only one hen is of laying age and she lays green eggs they other ones are getting close to laying I am expecting them to lay green also. I had 1 rooster that looked like yours but he was blue, mean as heck so he is in my freezer now.
