I am getting Ayem Cemanis sometime in the nearish future to hatch to set up as a breeding project. My friend just got some blue/splash english orphs so I'm hoping to buy some eggs off her this spring/summer.

I'm also toying with the idea of hatching some polish but I'm not too set on the idea so I'm just letting that one marinate for a bit before I get in over my head with eggs.

I also am wanting to add some Lavender Orphs to the farm so I'm not sure if I'll buy chicks or eggs.

You're so lucky with the Ayem Camanis! I think I'm going to add polish too. Lavender Orps are AMAZING birds and you won't regret getting them.

If I get the chicks from MyPetChicken then I will have 31!

I'm not going to say how many I'll have or have currently as that might admit I have a problem. But I found a place that sells araucana pullets just how I like them so hopefully this time next year I'll hatch those out toi

I wish I could have Araucana and Ameraucaunas.

These ones are nice too because since they're not day old chicks, I'll know for sure they're clean faced. Not up to APA standard, but those tufts are just too complicated for me. I just want the rumplessness

I haven't ever bothered with the APA standards. As long as the chicks are healthy I don't care!
