What are your Spring 2021 hatching plans?

Pics
What breeds?
ISA browns, white leghorns, black sex-link, possibly golden laced wyandotte and black australorps. I think some of them stopped laying for the winter, but I’m not sure who has and who hasn’t. I have a lot of light brown egg layers, so it’s hard to tell their eggs apart. The chicks are all going to be mutts.

I'm thinking we might hatch out some ducks, we've never had ducks before, and we would probably hatch out a few chicks! :) I'm really looking forward to 2021!!

I have a broody silkie, but I don't want her to hatch babies. I live in Michigan. I am afraid they would die.
It’s not technically spring yet, and this wasn’t planned, but I’ve got a broody that I’m letting hatch some mixed breed eggs now.

Chickens are very good at keeping their babies warm. Another of my hens hatch a single chick a few weeks ago, and it’s been below freezing since. We let them stay outside and they’re still doing great. Smaller batches of chicks especially are easier to keep warm. If you want chicks I’d say let her give it a try.
