What are your thoughts?

My Muscovy’s and chickens sleep in the same coop my drake never messes with the chickens unless one gets into his space then tail feathers get grabbed. My female Muscovys roost next to my chickens. I have Runner ducks and Buff Orpington ducks My Scovy drake has never even trie to mate with one my Runner drake is after the scovy girls a lot .
Hopefully by getting them as young as possible, a natural pecking order can be established. My rooster and americauna hen were our 1st 4 years ago, so they seem to jeep everyone in line. We've been lucky in that none of our hens or ducks get picked on. My drake tried picking on our newest ducklings for the 1st couple of days that we had them. Now he seems to have excepted them as part of the flock. I'm going to try my best to add all ducks since I believe one of my newest ducklings may be a drake. If I do get a muscovy, I may have to deal with mule ducks in the future, which brings me to another question. Will I be able to differentiate between muscovy eggs and the eggs I am getting now from my WH and KCs? Are they larger? I just want to know when I start incubating my eggs in the future.

Our town has a chicken swap that is held once a month from Spring through the Fall. I had just recently found out about this past winter. Last month was the first show, but my husband and I skipped it due to a storm that was coming in. I've been following their facebook page for months now and am super excited with the vendor selection they are having this Saturday. I can't think of a better time to expand my flock. As of right now, I have khaki campbells and welsh harlequins. I'm thinking of adding some Ancona, black swedish, and runners to the mix. I've also considered some muscovies. My ducks free range with my chickens during the day and are housed separately at night. I have absolutely no experience with muscovies and was wondering if they would do well with my chickens. I know they can be flighty, so I've already prepared myself to clip their wings if I do get them.
I would be scared of adding diseases to what I have.

Always take off any shoes you wear around other poultry even when you get home from feed stores and wash your hands good .Even change your clothes. Also keep any new poultry in quarantine for at least 3-4 weeks to make sure they are all healthy. Unless your in Cal. Then stay home.

These are pretty reputable people that have been involved with the swap for years. Different breeders come from all over the state to be part of this swap. Believe it or not, I've actually gotten chicks from TSC last year that all died within a week of having them and not from anything I did or didn't do. My neighbor got chicks from the same exact shipment and the same thing happened to hers. The vendors involved have tons and tons of positive reviews so I completely trust purchasing from them. But I do appreciate the concern.
