Thank you for your feedback! This little guy/gal is so different than all the others with so few feathers. I agree, mix breed is very likely. The chicken lady’s operation is not a “fancy” place and she’s had such a high demand with everything going on. It’s a sweet little chick and seems heathy so not sure why it’s not developing feathers like all the others. I’ve read on this forum that boys can develop feathers slower than girls. We traded two cockerels back for pullets yesterday, so it’s definitely likely this is a boy too. I’m convinced the other six are pullets now. So if this is a boy, I suppose we could keep him as the solo rooster, but I was really hoping not to end up with a rooster. Our neighbors are supportive but that could change if it gets to be a bother.

I suppose if it is a he we may be able to get away with a solo rooster if he isn’t a crazy crower or the neighbors don’t mind. I wonder if it might be a he because he doesn’t get picked on at all by the big girl Easter Egger who’s eager to be the top hen and has been giving the Polish chick a hard time. They’re only a month old and of thought I had more time before they needed more space but it’s quite clear they are ready for their cool, which will be ready for them tomorrow.

I looked closer at the tiny feather tips on the wings and I did see slight barring. Don’t have a bunch on confidence she/he was sexed, so sex is up in the air.
They come in both Large Fowl and bantam, and they're common as frizzles.
