I don't show, so i can't say which breeds do well. While picking up some pullets at TSC I impulse bought a cute little bantam chick from the "misc. straight run bantam" bin. It had a little pom pom on the top of it's head and I couldn't pass it up. I had no clue what it was, so when I got home I started looking at pictures of bantam chicks. It turns out that it was a polish. It actually wound up being a white crested black polish cockerel. He is the goofiest little bird. I call him my "freak chicken". Not sure what type of chickens you're into, but one of these little guys certainly will draw people's attention... Even if it's just to laugh! Here he is a couple of days ago at 3 1/2 months old.
