what birds mix well with cornish X???

Gonna try to get some birds from TSC today but wanted a few egg layers or a dual purpose bird. What birds can cohabatate with Xs with not to much trouble?

I have two ancona chicks with my 25 Cornish X, no problems. (they are three weeks old)

I have twice raised Cornish X with standard breeds, and they do fine up until 4 weeks or so, then the sheer size difference of the Cornish, and their mad crazy rush to food make it downright dangerous for the other birds unless you have lots and lots of room and ample feeders. You will see what I mean in due time. Cornish LOVE food... Good luck with your choice!

My X's always got along fine with my dual purpose breeds. But I always separated them when I started to limit the X's food to daytime only.

thanks for the info. I only plan on gettting about 10 birds all together, 8 meaties and then 2 or so dual purpose or something similar.

That's good info. You will see the difference even before a month old and then need to separate
