What Brahma do I have? Light or dark?

Hello,
Hoping someone can assist. I ordered chicks from Murray McMurray Hatchery and I ordered Light Brahmas. Well the chicks are quite dark. I am wondering if these are actually dark Brahmas or maybe even something else completely. My chicks are 2 weeks old so maybe I just have to wait for them to turn lighter. Sorry the pictures are on the side, I'm not quite sure why they were uploaded that way! Thanks for any help you can give!

Those are Light Brahma chicks. They will lighten up as they get older. The first breed I ever had (about 50 years ago) were Light Brahmas and they were gentle giants. )

They look just like my Light Brahmas....


This one is a week old.


If you can see her, there is an older, almost 3 week old Light Brahma just on the other side of the pen - right under the hanging container.

They look like Light Brahmas to me, too.

They are lights, they are not going to ever be the crisp Columbian pattern you may have been expecting. Birds that are going to be nicely patterned usually start out almost completely yellow.

Thank you so much everyone! I think you are right SD Bird Lady, I was expecting more of the Colombian look. I am really liking these chicks no matter what the color.
