What Branch of the US Military?

I served 4 years in the Air Force. 83-87. Actually regret getting out, I would have been retired by now and could just raise chickens to sell eggs and supplement my pension!

Instead, I'll be working til I'm 90.

My grandpa, my dad, several cousins and uncles were in the military. Army. Which is why I joined the Air Force and met my DH in Alabama!

I served 6 years in the USMC, one of the best things I ever did. You would be surprised how it influences your behavior more than 20 years later. Back then I didn't think so, been out since 1984. Things are alot harder now than back then for woman so I hand it to anyone that dedicates their life to our country.

My oldest is in the army right now. Poor kid is stuck in Ft Riley Kansas

(but it could be MUCH worse! LOL)

Hubby did 3 years in the army too. I tried to get him to re-enlist and go to Germany. However, he did not think me partying my butt across Europe while he was stuck at an army base was a good plan. Party pooper!!!

Hear, Hear. The Air Force absolutely changed the course I was on, influenced me then, influences me now. Heck, I still call everyone sir or ma'am!​

i haven't served, so i voted "null". my dad was in the Navy, however.

My husband may have been the one enlisted, but we were both serving, in the Army. And currently in the Army National Guard, currently on the list to be deployed.

My oldest son (26) served in the 3rd Infantry.....was one of the first ones in Iraq....now out and learning to live with PTSD and TBI.....he's doing good.

My youngest (18) did boot camp last summer between jr and sr year. This summer he's at Fort Leonardwood, MO for AIT training. He's in Combat Engineers.

Go ARMY.

I'm proud of all who are associated with the military. It is hard to be a military family, but it takes a special family to be one.
