what brand and kind of incubator is best?

I don't know what your definition of low price is, but incubators can cost anywhere from $50 to thousands, so I feel like I got a bargain when my choice hatched 11 of 12 eggs, worry-free. I got it at Tractor Supply (cheaper on amazon.com), even tho the TS website said they were sold out. It slices, it dices, it turns the eggs, provides the proper temperature and humidity... I love it! If you live in CoMO, I can share it with you.

Poking my head in here to look at everyone's suggestions.

I would not be looking into incubating until next year when it's warm but was thinking about starting to research towards a really good *newbie-friendly* incubator while doing my typical months-year research before actually diving into getting one.

Budget would not be an issue, but have been wondering myself what ones are best, and if there are any that are really good and really 'newbie friendly.' Or if they're all about the same in terms of easy use.

There are several incubator threads comparing them and every now and again someone gets a faulty one.

I really like my kebonnixs (it's on sale right now), it was a Xmas gift last year(23) and have used it a few times. I played with it without eggs to get a feel for it. User friendly I'd say, except the loud beep lol. There is even a thread just for kebonnix and an Etsy shop that makes different egg inserts

I did splurge and buy the Maticoopx 30 incubator. But it'll be awhile before I get to use it.
