I see it too. I went every week for a month to get lavender Orpingtons. I left when they didn’t have them. Finally got these guys- they are nice birds, but I really wanted the orpington body type.Possibly a lavender orphington/leghorn mix? It has kind of a leghorn body style.
If it were lavender Orpington X Leghorn, the bird would either be black, or white split to lavender. Lavender wouldn't be visible in the first generation.I see it too. They do look splash, but let's wait, & see if they have white earlobes when they get older?I looked a little bit more- possibility they could be splash Andalusians? What do you guys think?
Sounds good! I’ll keep y’all posted how they grow. One is always way up in a tree. Thanks!!They do look splash, but let's wait, & see if they have white earlobes when they get older?

Yeah-I will keep my eyes on them. Let them mature more. They were from a local poultry place that had them shipped in from a hatchery. I don’t know which one. When I contacted them, they said I must have gotten a couple mystery chicks.Their color is splash, not lavender. Where are they from? I agree that Splash Andalusian is the most likely possibility. Check earlobes if they're white or when they start developing color and confirm bottoms of feet are white/pink
