what breed and gender, age

I there , im new to the forum and to raising chickens. Im thinking these 2 are hens..maybe 6wks old. We found them and are buildung the coop this weekend. If you could shed some light in breed, gender,

With the white in the wings, they look like red sex link pullets, but without knowing their exact origin [hatcheries sell gen 1 sex links, but some backyard breeders sell gen 2, and in gen 2 the sex linked color no longer works], they might just be random mixes, which would not guarantee pullets. Both look girly though .

We foynd them so we have no info. Someone else told me maybe golden comets....not sure on age either.

Golden Comet is one of the trade names for gold sex links, so that person was mostly right.
Red and gold sex links are basically the same, except reds are reddish and golds are buff or 'gold' Color depends on the father's breed.

This. Technically reds and golds are different but that is a cosmetic thing based on whether the father had the Mahogany gene or not.
They're also called Red Stars and many other names.
