We have two chicks that someone gave to us and they are siblings. We don't know a lot about determining the breed or gender of chickens so maybe you could help us. Here are some pictures:

The top one is Pineapple, and the bottom one is Brownie. We noticed that Pineapple is bigger than Brownie and also that they don't look very similar. Maybe even though they have the same mother they may have different fathers??? Thank you for your help!

Sincerely,
mexicanchickens

P.S. We think they are about 3 months old in these pictures.

Not sure if they are cochins, but at 3 months old they look to be bantams.. Do they have feathers on feet???

BUT ABOVE ALL

No, they do not have any feathers on their feet. Thank you! Sorry, they are actually 2 1/2 months in these pictures. Thank you for answering our questions as we are new on BYC.

I have a few more pictures of the chicks how they look now if that helps anybody figure out what breed and gender they are.

Thank you for your help! We thought the bigger lighter colored chick might be a male because it's bigger than the other one, but I guess it's just because they're different breeds that they aren't the same size.
