What breed and gender is this???

A cockerel is just a young male chicken. It's not a breed.

It almost looks like a blue orpington, but it has a single comb. I would guess pullet unless the comb begins to brighten at all.

Orpingtons are supposed to have single combs.

Oh no not another rooster lol. I was told an Orpington. Is that possible?

although I have to agree with GitaBooks it does look like a rooster because of the shape of the neck feathers can we take a look at the saddle feathers? plus how old is the chick

She/he is 5 weeks old give or take a few days. Got her/him from a lady selling from her backyard flock. I was told the 5 I bought were Orpingtons. Maybe this is not the case.

It could be an orpington rooster (I have a pullet, and I'm going off her for shape) but its coloration is probably a mix between a buff and some other color like a blue or black. This would make him a pure orpington, just not a pure color.
