What breed and gender

Why did you buy chickens and pay $35 if they couldn't tell you the breed? Just wondering. I would be darn sure about what I was getting before paying for them.

I bought it cause it was with the hens and acted hennish and is suppoesedly a polish cross

Crossed birds do not always breed true to type. In chat I think you said that your bird was 3 or 4 months old. The comb looks huge to be a hen. Best of luck to you.

No way are either of those 3-4 months old. And I could go with hen on that one, but it looks like an older hen. That is what I am reading from the floppy comb (if I am seeing it correctly as a single comb). She might be trying to pawn off some of her older layers.

got a good one there I am totally on the fence on this one. if the other pic is a hatch mate then I would say it's a hen but ....

Is it any wonder she has trouble selling animals. Look at what she is putting you through..

I certainly wouldn't purcash any other from her...

I'm going to watch this string just to see how it all comes out.
