What breed and genders are my chickies?

I believe they are around one month old now. I got them May 24th and the lady said she thinks they're a week old.

She said that the mom was silkie and she's not sure of the father.


Last 2 pics show their fuzzy feet. (I did have them in a low rise box but I woke up to them chilling on my foot so they're in a higher box now.)

what breeds are the possible fathers? That will help to narrow it down.

They sure have a lot of feet feathers to be only half silkie so I guess they've got feathered footed fathers too. Perhaps cochin? They also come in barred/cuckoo (so do silkies but very rare).

They are mixes and it’s way too early for gender. I’m thinking barred rock / polish? Not sure how to account for the feathered legs though, so maybe some marans or Cochin in there too.

Leroy is looking suspicious for a male because of his comb, but it is really too early to sex them. 6-8 weeks is a good starting point. They sure are cute!

Lol I've thought Leroy was a male since probably 2 weeks old. That chicken always has an attitude.
