What breed and sex *UPDATE*

Yours looks just like mine that I got from TSC, they were amber links, she just started laying last week. She was hatched April 7th. She layed nice dark brown eggs Good luck!

Sex link roo. I have two BR roos and the more dominant roo's comb and waddles are huge with the second (submissive one) having a very small comb but def bigger than the girls.
I think yours is a roo for the reason that he might just be a late bloomer on the comb/less dominant in the flock kind of idea.

Okay Pepper what mix makes the amberlink? I think the chicken pictured is a pullet.

RSL roo. I ended up with 6 of them (out of 6 I bought!) from TSC that were "supposed" to be White Leghorn pullets!

at least i know their amber sexlink and 99% on hen, hope i see some eggs in the next 6 weeks

looking at both of them, there the same size, tail and saddle feathers are the same, and leg size is the same, maybe one is maturing faster than the other pullet.

She layed her first egg yesterday, a nice dark large brown one

but she layed in a bush

, so i put some golf balls in the nests in the coop.

Do you have anymore recent pictures of her? I would love to see what an amber link looks like fully grown.
