What breed and sex.

Hi, new here,

Just wondering if anyone can tell me what breeds are in my brown goose and if anyone would manage a guess on what sex they are.

The white one looks like a standard Roman Goose, and I’m not sure about the other one. Maybe it has some African in him/her.

Thanks, I know the white one is a embeden and I was told the brown one is a toulouse goose but I suspect it is a cross.

The grey is a Chinese/domestic greylag cross. It’s hard to say what breed was the domestic greylag, when you mix that combination it often results in offspring that reverts to its more basic genes, for example standard grey brown Chinese markings. It’s parent could have been any grey goose, white goose, who really knows.
How old are they? It’s hard to tell gender in younger geese, though I suspect the white could be a gander, the brown grey could be a gander too but I’m not sure.

They are about 8 months and I was told they were 2 females, thanks for the info, I will find out in a few months time what sex they definitely are.
