5 of them, all identical (one of them should have been a Light Brahma pullet), came with my order from Ideal. One is bigger and bolder than the others assuming that I'm not mixing them up. He's right up front when I open the door and lets me pick him up without a fuss.

They are just shy of 4 weeks old.

All the packing peanuts are boys, as expected, right? Those prominent combs and those big feet are a dead giveaway even for a newb like me.

Thanks.

I can't keep a rooster and even if I could keep a rooster I wouldn't want a red one because I don't like the look of red chickens (personal taste thing), but I was curious.

I hadn't expected packing peanuts at all in mid-June when it was so warm.

The Big Red Boys are active and healthy.
