I recently hatched out two duckling that someone gave to me. However, I’ve never done this before and have no clue what breed they are. I’ve attached photos from when they first hatched out and now. Would love some help. Thanks!

Thanks for all the responses! I figured they were mixes. Are they both mallard mixes? The yellow one has tan-ish almost pink-ish feathers on it's chest now and the darker one has the mallard brown feathers on its chest. Thanks!

The one with the stripes on its face reminds me of my Rouens but is different enough that its not quite right. Maybe part rouen? No idea about the other. Sorry adorable tho!

Your duckling with the facial stripes looks a lot like several I have had. The first, my drake, who is 1/2 Khaki Campbell and 1/2 Silver Appleyard. This is him as a duckling:

I suspect yours is also a drake because the feathers above his tail look dark and solid. Is your duck quacking or still peeping? If he is still peeping, good chance he is a boy.

Your other duck reminds me of some ducklings I recently hatched (my avatar).

My drake was their father and their mother was a silver Swedish. Mine were a color called lavender which results from having the allele for blue and the one for brown. Mine had a darker bill and a bib so not the same, but I wonder if yours came from something like a blue Runner, Khaki cross?? Just guessing. This is her and her sister now (on right or in front):

Thank you so much! I suspect both of them are girls since they are pretty loud with a few quacks once in a while. The first picture looks just like my duckling! So cute!
