Hi there I'm new to this site and have kept backyard chickens my whole life, more recently I have been keeping and breeding jumbo jap quail and just yesterday added 2 ducks to my urban farm. I believe they are a pekin cross but not sure what they are crossed with. Anyone want to have a guess?
Thanks heaps!

Sorry I don't have my ducks in a row, or know breeds except for mallard BUT, if you go to the Other Backyard Poultry forum above, there have threads on ducks, geese, guineas, quail etc. Something there may be able to answer your questions. Welcome to Backyard chickens. (and ducks, geese, emus, swans,....etc, etc.)

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! Lovely ducks you have there! I too am not a duck person but definatly post in the duck section of the forum for all the expert help on identifying your ducks https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/42/ducks

I'm glad you joined us.

I"m not sure what your ducks are. You may want to post in the Ducks section that Yorkshire Coop linked to.

I'm glad you joined our "flock!"

I'm not sure what breed (or mix of breeds) your ducks are, but I don't think they have any Pekin in them: they're too light in body and upright. They might be Runner duck mixes.

Thanks! I love their colouring they are by far the best looking mongrels I've ever come across!:D
